
Senator Abba Moro saddened by ravaging floods in parts of the country, calls for urgent actions

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro PhD, on behalf of the Senate Minority Caucus sympathized with the governments and peoples of Bauchi, Borno and other states of the federation being ravaged by floods.
The Minority Leader in a press release signed by the Media Adviser to the Senate Minority Leader Emmanuel Eche’Ofun, sent his heartfelt condolences to families and friends of those who have lost their lives and properties, and identifies with the governments of the affected states.
Moro called on the federal government and relevant government agencies to take urgent steps to evacuate those trapped and also ensure conducive environment for those displaced and in IDP camps.
Senator Moro urged Nigerians in danger zones to be at alert and not hesitate to move to safer places to avoid being caught up in the web of the rampaging floods.
