
Rep. Agbodike Hails 2025 Budget as Blueprint for Economic Transformation

Hon. Paschal Agbodike, representing Ihiala Federal Constituency of Anambra State, has described the 2025 Appropriation Bill as a transformative step toward reviving Nigeria’s economy.
Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presented the proposed budget to a joint session of the National Assembly, Agbodike commended the effort, calling it the “Budget of Economic Transformation.”
“The President just presented the 2025 budget, and I call it the budget of economy transformation owing to the present situation of the economy. It has been dwindling for the past years,” Agbodike stated.
“But from the efforts of Mr. President, he’s getting it right and has promised that Nigerians should expect positive change.”
The lawmaker highlighted that the budget’s revenue generation heavily relies on taxation, urging citizens to adopt a proactive approach to tax payment.
