
NIMC REWARDS 523 STAFF IN 2025 PROMOTION EXERCISE AS OUTLINE IN PSR
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has concluded its 2025 promotion exercise, with 523 staff members receiving promotions.
The promotions, approved by the Director-General and CEO, Engr (Dr) Abisoye Coker-Odusote, are part of the Commission’s performance reward system, recognizing staff who met the required conditions as outlined in the Public Service Rules (PSR).
According to a statement by Kayode Adegoke, Head of Corporate Communications, the promotions include:
2 staff members to Director (GL 17),
8 staff members to Deputy Director (GL 16)
- 35 staff members to Assistant Director (GL 15)
- 35 staff members to Chief Identity Officers (GL 14)
- 109 staff members to Assistant Chief Identity Officers (GL 13)
- 113 officers to Principal Identity Officer (GL 12)
- 82 staff members to Senior Identity Officer (GL 10)
- 130 staff members to Identity Officer 1 (GL 9)
The DG/CEO congratulated the promoted staff, urging them to view their promotions as an opportunity to serve the country better. She emphasized zero tolerance for extortion and encouraged staff to work diligently in the coming year to ensure the successful implementation of the National Identification Number project.
