
BARR. MNYIM ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF MODERN MARKET BACK TO BENUE STATE GOVERNMENT.

The Honorable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Public Order, Mnyim Fidelis Esq. on behalf of the executive Governor of Benue state, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia have announced to the general public that the modern market which was leased out for many years during the administration of the former Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom to private investors is back into the hands and management of Benue state government.
Barr. Mnyim addressing the traders thanked the Governor of Benue state, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia for making sure the market returned back to the government to cater to the interest of traders who before now went through untold hardship ranging from various taxes by the private owners as well as total neglect of the market into decaying.
Mnyim called on the traders to report anyone who comes to them demanding any form of levies to the security agencies.
The traders were full of praise to the executive Governor of Benue state, Hyacinth Alia for making sure the market returned back to the government from private owners.
The traders were optimistic that the return of the market to the government would witness total transformation and business activities that were low would return to their fullness.
The commissioner for justice was at the market alongside the commissioner for commerce and industry, Hon.Alumo Orpin, Special Adviser to the Governor on market coordination, Isaac Akaangee, and the SSA to the Governor on youths organization and illegal levies, Hon. Gbenda Terver amongst others.
