

APC E-registration: Governor Alia Registers as Number One Member in Benue
says a vote for him and President Tinubu is a vote for consolidation

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has registered as number one member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State.
The APC in Benue flagged off the ongoing nation wide e-registration and revalidation exercise at the Governor’s home town of Ihugh, Mbadede Ward of Vandeikya Local Government Area.
This is contained in a statement by Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
Addressing party faithful shortly after his registration print out was handed him by the State Acting Chairman of the party, Benjamin Omale, Governor Alia charged all members of the party to come out and visit their ward headquarters in order to revalidate their registration while those who are willing to join should equally approach registration areas to be registered as members of the party.He said, “in 2023, you demonstrated to the entire world that Benue is APC. You demonstrated through the ballots that you love me and Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We have both remained faithful to the promises set out in our policy blueprints.”
Governor Alia who applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the national chairman of the party, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda for the initiative further stated that, “I therefore urge you to come out and use this opportunity to once again demonstrate that you are ready to vote for consolidation.”My administration will give priority attention to the most registered areas because this is an APC administration”.
He tasked all council chairmen and party chairmen at the Local Governments in the state to give the registration agents all the needed support and to mobilize the people to participate in the exercise.
Benue State APC acting Chairman , Dr. Benjamin Omale, commended President Tinubu and the National Chairman of the party for the initiative and thanked Governor Alia for sponsoring the exercise in the state, urging all APC faithful in Benue to embrace the e-registration to formally confirm their membership.
The State Coordinator of the APC e-Registration and State Organizing Secretary of the party, Hon. James Ornguga, explained that the registration process was straightforward, requiring only a voter’s card and a National Identity Card.
He disclosed that personnel had been trained and deployed to all council and ward headquarters across the state.
On his part, the member representing Katsina-Ala, Ukum, and Logo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Solomon Wombo, praised Governor Alia’s developmental strides, assuring him of the support of the entire Sankera people to enable him continue in office beyond 2027.
Chairman of Vandeikya Local Government Area, Mr. Dennis Guda, pledged full support for the success of the exercise in the council, thanked attendees for their participation, and prayed for their safe return to their various destinations.
The APC e-registration exercise is expected to run across all wards in the 23 local government areas of Benue State as the party intensifies efforts to consolidate its base and strengthen internal organization.
All party faithfuls ,officials and government appointees were present at the event.
