It’s another year of IAAD!
Celebrating a ” Decade of collective progress” 10 years of IAAD.
By Constance Nneka Onyemaechi.
This is a great feat for Persons with Albinism. We aren’t where we want to be yet in terms of acceptance, and Inclusion in all sectors of society, but we are not oblivious of the fact that we aren’t where we used to be.
We use this opportunity to celebrate our wins, big and small in all ramifications. And also emphasise the need to continue advocacy at all levels, and lastly, to reflect on how we can keep making the society a wholly Inclusive one for Persons with Albinism in policy formulation, legal framework, medical research and social justice.
Cheers to us!
Cheers to all Persons with Albinism around the world!
Many cheers to 10 years to US!
